The short version

If a session does not run, you get your money back. If you change your mind before the programme starts, you get your money back less the booking fee. Once a monthly programme has started, we refund the part your child has not attended.

If we cancel

If SmartSteps cancels a session, a batch or a programme for any reason, you are refunded in full for everything not delivered. You do not have to ask. We refund to the same card, UPI id or account the payment came from.

If you cancel a monthly enrolment

  • Before the first session: full refund, less a ₹100 booking fee.
  • Within the first week: refund of the remaining weeks of that month.
  • After the first week: the current month is not refunded; you may stop at the end of it with no further charge.

A place you leave is released to the next child on the list, so please tell us as early as you can.

If you cancel an hourly booking

This covers the pickleball court, soft play and birthday bookings.

  • More than 24 hours before: full refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before: no refund, but we will move your booking to another slot once, free of charge, if one is open.
  • Did not arrive: no refund.

If a child cannot attend

For illness with a doctor’s note, we credit the missed sessions against the following month rather than refunding them. Tell us as soon as you know.

Money taken but no confirmation

If your bank shows a payment but you did not get a confirmation, nothing is lost. A payment that does not reach us is reversed by your bank automatically, usually within five to seven working days. If it has not come back by then, contact us with the date, the amount and the reference your bank shows, and we will trace it.

How long a refund takes

We approve refunds within three working days. After that it is your bank’s timing: usually five to seven working days for UPI and cards. The money returns to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different account.

How to ask for a refund

Call or write to us with your booking reference, which is on your confirmation. You do not need a form.
